NORTHERN OHIO VISUAL ARTS MEETING!!! (Name to be determined at first
meeting)

WE ARE INVITING EVERYONE involved with film and theater to attend the first
meeting of the Northern Ohio Visual Arts Association, in order to establish
a non-profit organization to further visual arts in Northern Ohio. Everyone
involved in the Film and Theater industry is welcome.  Including Actors,
Film Makers, Producers, Directors, Writers and all Crew Members.

Be there for our first meeting, MONDAY OCTOBER 21ST at 7:30PM.  The location
will be...
North Coast Central Casting
4913 Storer Ave.
Cleveland, OH 44102

What are the reasons for this organization you ask?

1.      The Ohio Film Commission has closed down!
2.      Cleveland Film Makers discontinued!
3.      To establish a networking system for growth in visual arts!
4.      No unity between Film & Theater!
5.      To develop unity in a city, divided!

THIS ASSOCIATION WILL BE OPEN TO ALL AND RUN AS A DEMOCRACY.  Nominations,
Elections, Board of Directors, Interim President and so forth will be the
agenda for the first meeting. Representatives to the board of directors will
include Interim President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Actors Rep,
Extras Rep, Directors Rep, Producers Rep, Writers Rep, Crew Rep, Media Rep,
Web Site Developer(s), and any other representatives deemed necessary at the
first meeting.

Meeting Agenda
7:30 to 8:00 PM - Meet & greet!
8:00 to 9:00 PM - Formation & organization meeting
9:00 PM - Nominations and election of officers.

After the meeting will be the showing of the short film "We Have Your
Daughter" by Bill Johns, Cinevid Productions.

I think this is a worthwhile idea and it seems very
sound, I support the concept.  For myself, however, I
know I cannot be a part because I now live in New
York, but I will be moving back to Cleveland late
summer, so it'd be nice to see this group get off the

As for the NOVA meeting (hey, there's your name), film and theater
communities
are separated everywhere, not just this state or region.  It's sad really.
I'd
be glad to help out since I've worked in both, though obviously more
extensively in film and video.  I like your adherence to the importance of
structure.  I'll put my two cents in........................ Christopher
