Now in its tenth year of supporting independent filmmakers and
presenting their interesting and innovative work to the public, the Ohio
Independent Film Festival and Market adds even more reasons for
film-lovers to attend the event.

Independent Pictures in cooperation with Media Design Imaging, Inc.
(www.mdifilm.com) is proud to present Los Angeles based, Stephen Lebed
giving an in-depth instructional workshop on Special Effects.

Stephen is currently the Visual Effects Supervisor for the hit TV show,
"Charmed" starring Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan, and Holly Marie Combs.
His past credits include The Sender, and top grossing feature film
Independence Day. He has also worked in 3d Animation, model building,
miniatures, and matte painting on such TV shows as Star Trek, Babylon 5,
J.A.G and others.   Stephen will discuss visual effect pre-production
methods such as budgeting and shot design, modern effect techniques used
in film and television, and tips for those interested in finding visual
effect work. Students are sure to benefit from his working knowledge and
the hands-on training and demonstrations provided throughout the two-day
long instruction.

The 2-days workshop will be held from 9am-12:30pm on Saturday and
Sunday, 11/9 & 11/10 at the Cleveland Public Theatre's Gordon Square
Theatre located on 6409 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio,. Class size is
