For Immediate Release
Workshop Players will be holding auditions for 84 CHARRING CROSS ROAD on
Sunday, November 10 from 2-5 p.m. at Workshop Players Theatre. Needed are 1
man and 1
woman (40s) for main roles and 3 men (20-60) and 4 women (20+) who are on
stage for much of the action but have few lines.
An American writer (Helene Hanff) mail orders books from a British used book
store over a 20-year period and through correspondence gradually forms a
friendship with the store's employees. This play is adapted from the book by
Helene Hanff by James Roose-Evans.
If you would like to audition and cannot make this date, or have other
questions, please contact director Marilyn Hubbard at 440-967-9025 or
dmhubbard at centurytel.net. Auditions will be held at the theater, located on
Middle Ridge Road in Amherst, halfway between Rt. 2 and Rt. 58.
Performance dates are January 9, 10, 11, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 & 26.
Tickets for the show are $10.00 each and may be reserved by calling the box
office at 440-988-5613. Group discounts are available for groups of 15 or
more. Workshop Players Theatre is located on Middle Ridge Road in Amherst,
