This News is Brought to you from Indie Cleveland.

Kevin Spacey is moving his Trigger Street Prods. into the digital age with the launch of a Web site devoted to encouraging new filmmakers.

Mike Myers, Sean Penn, Annette Bening and Bono are among the other top-tier industry figures who have agreed to participate in what aims to be a creative haven for aspiring talent. Spacey and producer Dana Brunetti will serve as CEO and president of TriggerStreet.com, respectively.

The site http://www.triggerstreet.com is designed to function as an elaborate online
workshop and showcase for those who don't have the showbiz track record
to land an agent or get a spec script into the right hands.
Screenwriters and filmmakers are invited to upload their own scripts or
short movies through a simple, automated process.

Enrollment at the site, which launched Sunday, is free and open to all comers. Spacey and Brunetti agree that the high mortality rate among dot-coms is irrelevant
to their concept. There are no fees for participating in TriggerStreet.com, nor does it have plans to attract revenue any other way.

DON'T FORGET THE LAST MEETING OF INDIE CLEVELAND FOR 2002 IS NOVEMBER 25, 2002. See http://www.indiecleveland.com for details.
