Audition for a brand new play----
              "NED'S GARDEN" * , written and directed by Margaret 
Ford-Taylor,
     is a thorough love story which resonates warm humor and deep cultural 
richness.   
  
Cleveland Art Theatre - a professional theatre -is seeking African American 
Actors for the following paid roles:
  MALES                                 
       Rob - the Postman who thinks he's a real catch because he has a job 
with
               good benefits. (late 30's - early 40's)          
       
       Cornelius "Beans" Reid - the Griot who lives in the stories he tells 
and tells 
                      them with great unintended humor, (late 40's - early 
50's)
       
       Frank, Jr. - an aspiring writer, dependable and reliable. (mid 20's)

 FEMALES
       River - very attractive, outgoing, high spirited, fun loving (mid 
30's)

       Rainey Howard - homebody, manager of the local fast food place, down 
to       earth, steady.  (mid 20's)

Auditions will be held at Factory Theatre of CSU - E. 24th & Chester Ave.  
                         Friday, January 10, 2003  from 7-10 p.m.    and
                               Saturday, January 11, 2003 from 4-6pm
Auditions will be cold readings from furnished sides.  Bring headshots and 
resume if you have them.         Rehearsals will begin late January.  
Performances will be Fri, Sat, Sun at Factory Theatre  March 28 - April 13.
