Applause is a weekly arts and cultural series produced by WVIZ/PBS =
ideastream

Applause, airing Thursday, February 13 at 7:30 p.m., celebrates =
Valentine's Day and Black History Month with host Dee Perry.

Coming up...
			*	The natural beauty of the Holden Arboretum is showcased in this =
segment. Located in Kirtland and covering 3,400 acres of land, the =
Holden is among the largest arboreta in the world. So it's no small =
task to cover that territory on foot with camera in hand. However, =
photographer Ian Adams did just that, capturing the natural delights of =
the Holden for a new 200 plus page catalog.

			*	Meet Albert Wagner, a minister and self-taught artist. Rev. Wagner =
uses paint and sculpture to illustrate his vision of humanity. His work =
is on exhibit at the Dead Horse Gallery in Lakewood and this spring, the =
reverend will be taking his art and ministry on the road. As part of =
Black History Month, ideastream's David C. Barnett profiles the man with =
a vision, and a message.

			*	All week long, 90.3 WCPN's Around Noon has been spotlighting local =
artist couples in the daily series, "For the Love of Art." In honor of =
Valentine's Day, the segments focus on artistic couples brought together =
by their love for art and for each other. "Love of Art" crosses over to =
Applause and focuses on a couple that have an eye for talent gallery =
owner Lissa Bockrath and Cleveland Indians GM, Mark Shapiro.

(Repeats Saturday at 5:30 p.m. & Sunday at 12:30 p.m.)
