[NEohioPAL]Indie Cleveland Networking Meeting February 26th at 7pm

Indie Cleveland, a networking group founded August 2002, and dedicated to making Cleveland a movie community is holding a "Last Networking Meeting" on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 from 7pm to 9pm. The Meeting will be held at Harold Hafner Model & Talent Photography at 1667 East 40th St., Studio 2D in downtown Cleveland. 

While this is the "Last Network Meeting," this is not the last Indie Cleveland event. The group is dedicated to making Cleveland a movie community and is focusing on independents making movies here. Indie Cleveland is free to join and offers a Yahoo! group where members can post info, photos, bios, links, and even movie files. Indie Cleveland does have a number of modestly priced programs: including an upcoming Workshop that will be taught by award winning professionals who are actually making movies here. The Workshop starts at the end of March, and space is limited. Students can sign up on the web. The Workshop costs $150 and will feature courses in acting, cinematography, directing and screenwriting. All details are at www.indiecleveland.com.

The "Last Networking Meeting" is open to all who are interested in Cleveland becoming a movie community. It is an open forum where anyone can discuss what they think the city needs to support indie filmmakers. Remember: if indie filmmakers have budgets, then they can pay actors and crew. Which is why there is a focus on filmmakers, but all are welcome to attend: actors, directors, writers, those in theater. Indie Cleveland welcomes all.
