 On March 3rd, Students Taking Action for a New Democracy will join in a collective, world-wide reading of the anti-war play Lysistrata, by Aristophanes. 
Readings of the play, in which a group of women band together and withhold sex from their men in order to bring about an end to war, are being held in 38 countries, with readings happening in all 50 states.

Please join us for the AKRON reading on Monday, March 3rd at 7pm in the Paul A. Daum Theatre in Kolbe Hall at the University of Akron. The Akron Reading, directed by university student, Oliver Corrigan, features a cast of university students and faculty memebers, and will be followed by a panel discussion. 

Queen Bee Productions will be on hand to present a donation to the YWCA Rape Crisis Center as part of the festivities, as well as a number of other community service organizations who will be available to provide a slew of information on other local peace efforts.
