No matter what your budget is, every movie must have a script. What is written will be the basis for the entire production.

March 28th, next Friday, is the deadline to register for the Screenwriting Workshop which is part of the Indie Cleveland Production Workshop (ICPW). The Screenwriting Workshop will be headed by Emmy winning writer Alex P. Michaels who also has directed low-budget indie movies. Mr. Michaels will focus on the low-budget movies, reveal techniques he uses in approaching characters and go through any specific problems you may be having in completing your script or getting started with it.

The workshop will cost $150 if you register on-line, and $160 if you send in a check. The workshop will last six weeks. The Screenwriting Workshop will begin March 31st as part of the ICPW. Space is limited. To register, go to http://www.indiecleveland.com.

To see Mr. Michaels' full bio, his recent photo and article in Crain's Cleveland business news, and more, go to http://www.alexmichaels.com.

Remember: "Every movie begins with the script."
