* Bardstock F.M. - Remember reading Shakespeare in high school? The =
complicated prose...the long list of characters...unfamiliar settings? =
The folks at the Great Lakes Theater Festival understand that reading =
Shakespeare can be a bit daunting, so they recently put together a =
program to entice students to read the classic A Midsummer Night's =
Dream. Todd Krispinsky, Great Lakes Associate Director of Education, =
joins APPLAUSE to talk about the program, "Bardstock F.M."
* The Art of Fly Tying - Sometimes art imitates life. And for a local =
artist, that's definitely true as he attempts to fool the eyes of a =
fish. In this segment, ideastream's David C. Barnett explores art of =
fly tying.
* Breaking into the Music Biz - Through the Recording Arts Technology =
Program, students at Tri-C learn the art of survival in the music =
industry, and the skills needed to be successful. One homework =
assignment was to begin a record label - and now the student-run RAT =
Records has its first release: Crooked River Groove. Tommy Wiggins and =
David Kennedy from Tri-C talk about the innovative program.
