[NEohioPAL]MiniDV Filmmaking getting it's due

Although I'd love to shoot in 35mm and still hope to, it's nice to see a feature film that was shot totally on MiniDV make it to international theatrical release. I'm talking about "28 Days Later" a british horrer/thriller that broke the mold and has grossed $40 Million so far. It still cost a lot compared to local filmmaker budgets (8 mil; the major thorofares of London were shut down and vacated), but it shows that MiniDV has a place and future. 

If you're an actor, or have a cool location, or are in a position of authority with a city, I would encourage you to seriously consider any project that comes your way, even if it's on DV, because it may just put you on the map. I'm not advertising anything just yet, but just wanted you all to know about it. 

Anyway, it brought me renewed hope for the format of no-choice and it's still showing at:
