Holds Auditions for

Bram Stoker's=20
DRACULA
Adapted for the stage by Jack L. Herman

After last years resounding success, The Kent Stage will be hold auditions=20
for this years production of the classic gothic thriller about the blood thi=
rsty=20
Count, Bram Stoker's Dracula directed by Jack L. Herman. =20

Open auditions Sunday, August 24 from 7-9:00 p.m. and Monday, August 25 from=
=20
7-9:00 p.m.  No appointments are necessary.

Callbacks will be held Tuesday, August 26 beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Production dates are October 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31 and November 1st. 2003

Description of Characters

Three Vampire Vixens
Looking for three (3) young woman to be able to play very sexy roles.  Must=20
have a dancers movements.  They are evil and sultry whenever on stage.  Look=
ing=20
for actresses in their early to middle 20's.  Will need to be able to speak=20
with a Romanian style accent.

Dr. John Seward
He is a very refined man.  Courteous.  A true English gentleman.  He also is=
=20
in love with Lucy Westenra.  He is the chief physician in charge of Purfleet=
=20
Asylum.  Must be able to speak with an English accent.

Arthur Holmwood
An aristocrat.  Well bred.  He is hopelessly in love with Lucy.  When Lucy=20
dies a part of Arthur dies with her.  He has the finale triumph in this play=
. =20
Must be able to speak with an English accent.

Quincey P. Morris
An American from Texas.  He speaks with the slang of the South, but it is=20
obvious he has good manners, and is very wealthy.  He is the third of Lucy's=
=20
suitors.  Must be able to speak with an Southern accent.

Jonathan Harker
He is a likable, outgoing, well heeled, well dressed, successful solicitor.=20=
=20
He is the fianc=E9 of Mina Murray.  Must be able to speak with an English=20
accent.

Mina Murray
Mina is a most attractive young woman.  She is beautifully dressed.  She is=20
gentle, warm-hearted, quick to respond to others' needs. Must be able to spe=
ak=20
with an English accent.

Lucy Westenra
She too is a very attractive young woman.  Lucy, though gentle by nature, is=
=20
suffering from a strange malady, which makes her appear helpless and weak. =20
When she becomes a vampire, the actress will need to be able to play very=20
seductive, evil and wild.  Must be able to speak with an English accent.
