Three performances only!
The Monstrous Ego Theatre Company, Clevelands Classical Youth Theatre, is
pleased to present as its inaugural production, Antigone, Sophocles Greek
tragedy. Sophocles classic work grapples with the themes of power and the
strength of ones ideals along with the bonds of family and love.
Many of The Monstrous Ego Theatre Companys members are students or recent
graduates of Cleveland Heights High School. The cast includes Kate Fairman,
a student at The Beaumont School (Chorus Leader), India Fields
(Ismene/Chorus), Liza Frolkis (Eurydice/Chorus), David Light
(Guard/Messenger/Chorus), Kelli Liverpool (Teiresias/Chorus), Myles Murray
(Haemon/Chorus), Zev Valancy (Creon/Producer/Director), and Katherine
Vincenty (Antigone/Chorus). The stage manager and dramaturg is Meredith
Webb, a Laurel School graduate now at Oberlin College.
Performances will be held on Friday, August 15 and Saturday, August 16 at
8:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 17 at 2:30 p.m. A $5.00 donation is suggested
at the door. Reservations are not necessary for these three special

In this wacky off-Broadway comedy, sixteen-year-old Kimberly is forced to
re-evaluate her life while juggling a hypochondriac mother, drunken father
and ex-convict aunt along with her own mortality and the possibility of
first love.
