Dear Fellow Actors and freinds,

The Performing Artist's Workshop Series is coming to Northeast Ohio! In Good Faith Entertainment, a New York City based personal management firm, launched the Performing Artist's Workshop Series in an effort to bring a unique opportunity to actors living outside the major markets. The objective PAWS is to help educate and empower actors at every skill level, but extends beyond training and technique by incorporating practical knowledge from experienced industry professionals on both coasts. In other words, the program doesn't just teach how to act, but also how to be an actor.

Through PAWS, the actor gains valuable insight into improving their overall skills, as well as important information on presenting themselves to potential clients. Whether it is an agaent, casting director, producer or director - all actors must learn how to sell their uniqueness. the three workshops, designed to compliment one another, culminate with a Showcase where talent will actually be exposed to, and perform for, agents and casting directors working in New York and Hollywood.

Among the program instructors will be Raymond Forchion. Raymond is a former Screen Actors Guild Board Member who chaired SAG's casting Committee in Los Angeles for 6 years. An accomplished actor, Raymond recently portrayed O.J. Simpson in the CBS mini-series "American Tragedy. A respected teacher and lecturer renowned for his intensive workshops, Ray has given his exciting Motivational Acting Seminars around the country and has coached actors for over fifteen years.

David Schiavone, a casting director with Grey Worldwide Advertising in New York City, will also be an instructor in this series. In Spring 2003, David helped establish Stephen De Angelis and David Schiavone Casting, LLC. After working on casting commercials, the two are now focusing on the motion picture industry and have several projects in the works.

For more information on PAWS, please call Michelle Dean at:
(330) 245-0823

The workshop is scheduled for mid September and has limited seating.

Thank you!

Mark Maeson
