Phoenix Productions, producers of the Great lakes Medieval Faire, =
Announces auditions for its' upcoming Edgar Allen Poe Murder Mystery =
Dinner Theatre.

Our Poe Mystery dinner theatre opens October 3rd and runs Fridays, =
Saturdays and Sundays through November 9th.  All positions are paid =
during performances.  Rehearsals will run through the month of =
September.  Although much of the show is scripted, it is a very =
interactive show with a good deal of improvisation throughout.  =
Rehearsals and performances will be held at the Historic Unionville =
Tavern in Madison, Ohio, a 205 year old Inn and Restaurant boasting an =
immense wealth of history.

We are currently seeking actors for the following roles:

Edgar Allen Poe -        m - 25-35=20

The Master of the Macabre in his early years.  Ready to unveil several =
new works.

Virginia Poe -               f - 20-25

Poe's waif-ish young wife.  Pale and ill, but very supportive of her =
husband.

Innkeeper / Host -        m - 30 something

Our robust host and tavern owner, ready to please all guests with a bit =
of mirth.

Innkeepers wife -          f - 30 something

A pleasantly overbearing matronly figure, who sees everyone as her =
potential children.

Butler -                         m - 20-30

Stodgy and prim, a stickler for propriety.

Groundskeeper -          m - 30-40

A quirky, somewhat insane handy man.

Coachman -                 m - 25-35

A recently out of work servant who haunts the pub that used to be his =
coach house.

French Maid -              f - 20-25

A failed actress, overly dramatic in everything she does.  Somewhat of a =
diva.

Those interested should call or e-mail a.s.a.p. to set up an audition =
time.  All auditionees should prepare a one minute period monologue and =
will also be asked to read from selected scripts. =20
