HONORS ADVOCATES FOR THE HOMELESS

ESTEEM, INC., this nation’s 655th “Point of Light”, will hold a benefit to
raise funds to establish permanent housing for formerly homeless women and
children, on Sunday, October 19th.  The event, THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME,
will be held at Tri-C Metro Campus Theatre at 3 p.m.  Performers include
classical musicians Gino Raffaelli, James Meyers, Diana Packer and Ioana
Missits; dancers from the Cleveland Repertory Project, The Tom and Susana
Evert Dance Theatre, Brian Murphy from the Ohio Ballet, Jenita McGowan,
soloist; poet Daniel Thompson; actors Renee Matthews-Jackson, Jim Nagle and
Debra Wiener.  ESTEEM will present its first annual ANGEL award to the late
Ralph Delaney, Sister Mary Frances Harrington and other advocates for the
homeless.  Tickets are tax-deductible and are $50 for patrons, $25 for
adults and $20 for students and seniors.  Checks or money orders may be sent
