This Thursday, October 2 at 7:30, Applause returns with a new season.

APPLAUSE, the award winning weekly culture and arts series returns to =
WVIZ/PBS ideastream with host Dee Perry, Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., =
beginning October 2.  The sixth season opens with all new episodes =
featuring people, places and events from Northeast Ohio that enrich our =
region's art and cultural heritage. (Repeats Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. and =
Sundays at 12:30 p.m.)

The premiere episode, airing Thursday, October 2, explores the local =
blues scene in a special thirty-minute special that's airing in =
conjunction with the new PBS series, "The Blues."  APPLAUSE goes on =
location to local blues hotspot, Wilbert's, to visit with some of the =
local legends that hang out there.  Also featured in the program is =
local blues man Robert Lockwood, who receives his own applause from Mr. =
BB King.
