WOIO seeks a writer producer for the promotions deptartment.

Schedule: Full Time; Schedule to be determined.

Description of duties

1. Implement, write and create on air promotinos for news image, station
image, news topicals, station contests, station events, sorting events aired
on the station, station proff of performance, station community involvement,
and sales/promotional events and contests. 

2. Plan, supervise and direct production shoots

3. Edit on air promotional spots usiing on-linear avid systme. 

4. Other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager. 

Education/Skills Required: Bachelor's degree in communications preferred
and/or successful progressive bradcast promotion experience with heavy
emphasis on news, strong writing skills required and Avid experience
preferred.
