This is a terrific supporting role for an animal in a play ! It ranks right=20
up there with Sandy in Annie, and Moushie in The Diary of Anne Frank ...

DOG NEEDED
to play "Candy's Dog"
in
Of Mice and Men
at=20

QUALIFICATIONS:
--Should be an obvious mutt. Medium size of about 30 - 40 lbs.=A0 Medium to=20
long hair.
--Older OR slow moving and calm enough where we can believe it is an old=20
dog.=A0=20
--The dog doesn't need to be able to do any tricks, since it is always on a=20
short rope leash.
--The dog and it's owner or attendant needs to be available for a number of=20
rehearsals and all the performances.  Rehearsals start in early January and=20=
the=20
play runs February 6- 29, Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays=
=20
at 3pm.  There will also be school matinees on Tuesday and Thursday, Februar=
y=20
10 and 12 at 9:00am and Noon each day. =20

OTHER:
--Dogs appear in Beck Center productions on a volunteer basis.
--The dog and it's owner / attendant would be able to leave after Act II,=20
Scene 1 of each performance or could stay for the curtain call.
