Hiring of Stage Technician at CPT

Qualifications:
-Must possess initiative and be able to work indepently but also be a      
  	team player.
-Strong organizational and communication skills
-A solid sense of safety
-A comprehensive knowledge of general technical theatre skills 
	including: basic rigging,carpentry,lighting,and sound is needed
- Should have working knowledge of running a manual two-scene preset 
	light control as well as computer console operation

Responsibilities:
-Primary responsibilities include working with guest artists and 
	coordinating technical requirements in our Upstairs Theatre, 
	including:
 	-lighting and sound set up and strikes.
	-serving as a general technician for the implementation of shows 
	 in the Gordon Square Theatre.

-Must be able to work a flexible 25hr-work week.

-Additional possibilities exist for further pay and work including 
	over-hire after 25 hours  
   
-Also run crew and board operation positions available for both CPT 
	works as well as with rental groups for additional pay
-Pay is 1000 dollars a month for five months.

Position starts January 2, 2004 and runs through May 2004.
