Firestone High School alumnus and Akron native Lucy Wang returns to her alma 
mater for Firestone Theatre's fourth annual One-Act Play Festival. 

Her play "Concerto for an Organ in B-Sharp" is the festival's featured play. 
It is under the direction of fellow alumnus Dr. William Kist. The One-Act Play 
Festival features four other short plays under the direction of alumni, a FHS 
student, and a guest director. The Festival will be held at 7:30 p.m. on 
Thursday, January 8, 2004, in the Firestone High School auditorium. All tickets 
cost $5.00 and are available only at the door on the night of performance. Lucy 
Wang's play "Junk Bonds" has been previously  produced by Cleveland Public 
Theatre.

The Festival also includes performances of "Lives of the Great Waitresses" by 
Nina Shengold, directed by guest director Melanie Pepe; "Phillip Glass Buys a 
Loaf of Bread" by David Ives, directed by FHS senior Amy Ayers; "Bed and 
Breakfast" by Richard Dresser, directed by FHS alumnus Eric Magnus; and "Medea" by 
Christopher Durang, directed by FHS alumnus Jessica Shepherd.

Lucy Wang's full-length play "Down Under" will be performed as a staged 
reading at Weathervane Playhouse in Akron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2004.  
No admission will be charged.
