Prelude2Cinema mourns the passing of the Tony nominated actor Charles =
Brown who played Lt. Foster in "What Angels Fear." Mr. Brown played many =
roles and brought them to life with his great talent. We were fortunate =
to have him play Lt. Foster. Although a writer creates the story, it is =
the actor who brings it to life. Mr. Brown brought many roles to life.

He received his first Tony nomination in 1980 for his performance as =
Cephus Miles in "Home." Three years ago, he got his second Tony nod and =
won a Drama Desk Award for his portrayal of an eloquent small-time =
gangster named Elmore in "King Hedley II."=20
Brown portrayed Martin Luther King Jr. in the 1983 TV mini-series, =
"Kennedy," starring Martin Sheen. He also appeared in "Law and Order," =
"Kojak" and "All My Children."=20
