Profession. Both Equity and Non-Equity professionals are encouraged to audit=

Auditions will be held this Saturday, February 7, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM a=
t=20
Actors=E2=80=99 Summit theater in Hudson, Ohio. Actors are encouraged to mak=
e an=20
appointment by calling the theater box office at 330-342-0800. Actors who do=
not make=20
an appointment will be seen between 11 and 1 between scheduled auditioners.
=20
Actors' Summit is committed to Non-Traditional Casting. Except in cases=20
where race, gender, age, or disability is essential to the play, all roles w=
ill be=20
cast on the basis of talent.
=20
Actors=E2=80=99 Summit operates under an SPT Tier III contract with Actors=
=E2=80=99 Equity=20
Association. All cast members are compensated.

Available Roles
All roles in the show are available with the exception of the=20
title role which has already been cast.
The roles are:
Vivie -- a 23 year old college graduate with a stron=
g=20
will and an independent spirit.
Praed =E2=80=93 An architect, sophisticate, and love=
r of the=20
arts. Very urbane. Age range: 48 =E2=80=93 60
Crofts =E2=80=93 A merchant/nobleman, superficially=20
civilized, but bruitish and insensitive underneath. Age range 48 - 60
Frank -- He is pleasant, pretty, smartly dressed,=20
cleverly good-for-nothing, not long turned 20, with a charming voice and=20
agreeably disrespectful manners.
Rev. Gardner -- The Rev. Samuel Gardner, a beneficed=
=20
clergyman of the Established Church, is over 50. Externally he is pretentiou=
s,=20
booming, noisy, important.
=20
Auditioners should bring an 8 X 10 headshot and resume, and be prepared to=20
read from the script.

Rehearsal & Performance Schedule
Mrs. Warren=E2=80=99s Profession will begin rehearsals the week of February=20=
9.=20
Rehearsals are normally held in the evenings Sunday through Wednesday, and S=
aturday=20
during the day. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled depending on cast=20
availability. The play has a preview performance on March 4, opens on March=20=
5, and=20
has a total of 12 performances with a scheduled closing date of March 21.=20
Performances are given Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00PM and Su=
ndays=20
at 2:00 PM through February 22.=20
