Before Jonathan Larson wrote RENT, he lived it.  tick, tick =8A BOOM! is the
musical tale of his days as a struggling artist in SoHo.  It=B9s 1990 and REN=

is still six years from its Broadway debut.  Larson is on the verge of 30 =8B
faced with life-altering choices and fighting to keep his dreams.  His
girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city; his best friend i=
s
making big bucks on Madison Avenue; and he=B9s still waiting tables and tryin=
g
to write the great American musical.

AUDITION DATES/TIMES
Friday, Feb 27:  6-10pm (Equity/non-Equity)
Saturday, Feb 28:  11:15am-12:15pm (Equity ONLY)
              12:15-6pm (Equity/non-Equity)
Callbacks Sunday, February 29

AUDITION LOCATION
Grace Lutheran Church (13001 Cedar Road between Coventry & Lee in Cleveland
Heights).  Free parking in west lot of church.  Look for audition signs
showing entrance door.

CASTING NEEDS
Equity & Non-Equity...men, women, chorus (13 years & older).  Auditions for
tick, tick =8A BOOM! will be for understudies only (non-Equity).  Non-Equity
actors are not paid for their participation in Cain Park productions.  Cain
Park is committed to non-traditional casting.  Actors will be cast solely o=
n
the basis of talent, except in cases where age, race or physical ability ar=
e
essential to a role.

REQUIREMENTS
1.  Memorize/prepare 2 short songs
2.  Bring sheet music in the proper key (accompanist provided)--no taped
music allowed.  Please note: you will not be permitted to audition without
sheet music.
3.  Bring current resume and current photo (which will be retained by Cain
Park)
