Please join us this weekend at THE FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF AKRON, 292 E. Market Street!

PROGRAM: 
Open Seating, by David Shimotakahara with music by Gustavo Aguilar  
At Once There Was A House--World Premiere by guest choreographer, Beth Corning. 
Lighting by Dennis Dugan

The Plain Dealer calls Open Seating, "A provocative exploration of personal space" 

The performances are Friday and Saturday, February 20th and 21st  at 7:30PM and Sunday, February 22nd at 2PM.  Talk back sessions with the artists are scheduled immediately following the performances on Saturday and Sunday.  On Saturday, Feb. 21 from 6:30-7:00 PM, and Sun Feb. 22 from 1:00- 1:30 PM, historian John Vacha will offer free talks to the general public in the main sanctuary about the history of the First Congregational Church, its mission and building.  

Tickets to GroundWorks performances are $18 general admission and $12 for students and seniors.  A special family rate is also available to the general public for all concerts:  $12 for adults with families and $5 for children 12 and under.
