Bodwin Theatre Company will perform a staged reading of Moliere’s classic 
"The Imaginary Invalid," March 12-14 at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 
located at the corner of Starkweather Avenue and West 14th Street in 
Cleveland’s historic Tremont neighborhood.  The schedule for the 
performances, which are offered to the public free of charge, is as follows:

Friday and Saturday:  March 12th and 13th at 8:00 pm
Sunday: March 14th at 2:00 pm

Directed by Peter Manos, Bodwin Theatre's Artistic Director, the cast 
includes: Peter and Sandra Manos, Peg Buerkel, Caise Rode, Allen Branstein, 
Geoffrey Hoffman, Lee Chatow, Tony Walsh and Kevin Cronin.

The Imaginary Invalid, written in 1673, is Moliere’s last work, as he 
collapsed on stage and died during one of its performances. The play remains 
as one of Moliere's great character plays, in which the entire development 
of the action pivots around a single trait of single character, in this 
case, that of a hypochondriac, who confounds his family and staff with his 
illnesses and matrimonial scheming. Moliere (1622-1673) was the nom de 
theater, chosen by the great French dramatist Jean Baptiste Poquelin.

Earlier this year, audiences enjoyed Great Lakes Theater Festival’s 
wonderful and witty production of Moliere’s Tartuffe, a play written in the 
mid-1660s. You're sure to enjoy this later Moliere work that enraged French 
royalty, but has entertained audiences for centuries.
