Cleveland Rock bands are coming together for a very special concert to offer=

their support to fellow musician, Cleveland drummer Tommy Amato, who is=20
battling Cancer.=C2=A0 His former bandmates=C2=A0 and others will reunite fo=
r a special=20
evening of live classic Rock & Roll on Sunday March 28, at The Agora to cele=
brate=20
his friendship.=C2=A0
Some of the bands on the bill will be legendary Cleveland based rock bands=20
such as BEAU COUP, SOUVENIR, ANDY GEROME, STAR FLEET and DAVE=E2=80=99S PLAN=
ET.=C2=A0 Special=20
guest artists include Michael Stanley (MSB), Freddy Salem (The Outlaws & The=
=20
Godz), Butch Armstrong, Stutz Bearcat and more.=C2=A0=C2=A0
The concert will be an all day music marathon beginning at 3:00pm, and will=20
feature original music, as well as, classic rock=C2=A0 favorites like Genesi=
s, Yes,=20
Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and more.
Local and national merchants, as well as many celebrities in the music, film=
,=20
television, entertainment and sport industries are pulling together to donat=
e=20
some very cool, one of a kind and rare merchandise which will be on display=20
for silent auction. All bidding and items will be awarded by 10:00pm when th=
e=20
auction closes. Raffles, door prizes and giveaways will also be part of the=20
fund raising fun presented by Peanuts, the illustrious Host of the Northcoas=
t.

In 2001, Cleveland drummer, Tom Amato was found to have Lymphoma cancer. He=20
spent the year undergoing chemo and radiation treatments until he was 99.9%=20
disease free. He was told that there was a chance of it returning in 9 years=
.=C2=A0=20
2002 was a great year for Tom, but in May of 2003 the cancer returned strong=
er=20
and this time in a new area. He has been battling it since, and will now und=
er=20
go a bone marrow transplant. After intensive chemo treatment, Tom, with the=20
love and support of his family and friends=C2=A0 is continuing to fight this=
awful=20
disease. The Amato family wishes to thank everyone for their support. Funds=20
raised will be allocated to cancer victims and other cancer relief funds in=20=
the=20
name of Tommy Amato.
