Rabbit Run Theater Auditions for 2004 Season

Rabbit Run Community Arts Association will hold auditions for Rabbit Run Theater’s 2004 Summer Season on March 15 & 16 at the RRCAA Main Building, 49 Park Street, in Madison Village. 

Auditions will be held by appointment through RRCAA, between 1-5 pm on March 15 and 1-4 pm on March 16. Call 440/428-5913 for available times. 

“The Dining Room,” by A.R. Gurney, JR., directed by Dave Buckman. 3 men & 3 women. Actors portray several different characters in this fast paced and poignant comedy focusingon the changing role of the dining room in family life.

“Brighton Beach Memoirs,” by Neil Simon, directed by Ann Hedger. 1 man,  2 women, 2  boys & 2  girls, 10 to 18 years old. The first of Neil Simon’s semi-autobiographical trilogy provides a nostalgic look at the life of a young writer and his family in pre-war Brooklyn.

“The Secret Garden,” book and lyrics by Marsha Norman, music by Lucy Simon, directed by Karen O’Baker Porter. 9 men, 8 women, 1 boy & 1 girl, 10-13 years old (main roles). Based on the novel by Francis Hodgson Burnett, this beautifully arranged musical depicts an orphaned girl changing her life and the lives of those around her by finding and reviving an abandoned garden.

“Who’s on First,” by Jack Sharkey, directed by Ed Haney. 2 men & 2 women. This farce revolves around four friends reliving the same hour again & again until they get it right.
