"What the Bellhop Saw" is HELD OVER<?xml:namespace prefix =3D o ns =3D =
"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

=20

Due to its popularity, the comedy,"What the Bellhop Saw" will run an =
additional weekend (through May 29th).

"This is the grand opening show of our new facility, said =
Annette Phelps, Producer and President of the Broadview Heights =
Spotlights community theater. "Having our own building allows us to =
extend a show if necessary and we are pleased that it has been so =
well-received."

This hilarious comedy by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore =
(through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., New York, NY) =
will continue this weekend and next. (Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM with =
a matinee on Sunday May 23 - 3PM). =20

Directed by George Lasecki and Susan Jeromson, the show is =
about a Salman Rusdie-type author, a Middle-Eastern-Type Terrorist, a =
monstrous shrew-like woman, a conniving bellboy, a monumentally =
incompetent F.B.I. man, a nubile celebrity-mad maid, a dim-witted =
secretary, and a cute little pigtailed girl. All the while, gag lines =
are popping at popcorn speed. Everything happens at pretty much =
whirlwind-velocity. This farce by Van Zandt and Milmore blends topical =
humor with the traditional antics of Farce: doors slamming, characters =
careening, and confusion reigning supreme. The cast consists of Leo =
Tischer, Vince Stillitano, Dave Reifel, Pam Matthews, Allison Naso, Norm =
Bennett, Marc Dusini, Deb Sweat, Mike Russ, Jenna Grimes, and Doug =
Stohlman.

Tickets for the show are $10 ($8 for Seniors and Children 12 =
& under). Seating is limited and reservations are suggested. Call =
216/556-0660 or log onto the Spotlights' website: =
www.broadview-heights-spotlights.org. The Cultural Arts Building is =
located at the Broadview Center, 9543 Broadview Road (1/2 mi. south of =
Rt. 82). Enter the main drive, turn right at flag pole, and follow the =
signs to the first street past the Police Department. =20

Two interesting exhibits will enhance the production. Local =
artist Val Kaczor's contemporary interpretation of the soon-to-be =
demolished old hospital building will be on display. It is entitled =
"Retrospections to Be" and is sure to be popular because of the =
building's future extinction. The colorful, limited-edition prints will =
be available for purchase with part of the proceeds benefiting the =
Broadview Heights Spotlights Community Theater. There will also be a =
butterfly exhibit by Joseph Sgro.=20

TrueNorth Cultural Arts

For further information, please contact Rick Fortney at 440-933-7771

TrueNorth Cultural Arts presents "Sing for the Cure-A Proclamation of =
Hope", a benefit concert supporting the Ireland Cancer Center of =
University Hospitals of Cleveland, with a portion of the proceeds =
benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. This will be a =
powerful concert for anyone whose life has been touched by cancer; a =
time of inspiration, reflection, connection, affirmation and healing.

The concert is being performed to help raise awareness and to encourage =
patients and their families in the battle against cancer, while =
generating funds for the continued development of Ireland Cancer =
Center's Music Therapy program under the direction of Dr. Deforia Lane.

Dr. Deforia Lane, Ph.D., MT-BC, is the Associate Director of the Ireland =
Cancer Center and Director of Music Therapy. The Music Therapy program =
was developed to minimize the disruption of normal living patterns by =
providing sensitive, creative interventions for patients, including the =
playing of instruments and the writing of songs. The power of music has =
been well-documented: studies have shown that music can influence heart =
rate, respiration, blood pressure, pain perception, physical health and =
well-being. Through her distinguished career, Dr. Lane has brought =
comfort and happiness to individuals suffering from many ailments, =
including cancer, terminal illnesses, and pediatric disorders.

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the nation's largest =
private funder for breast cancer research and community outreach =
programs, commissioned "Sing for the Cure". "Sing" is being performed =
throughout the country raising both awareness and funds and encouraging =
all in the fight against cancer.

In November of 2002, TrueNorth premiered "Sing for the Cure" in this =
area, raising $13,000.00 for the new Woman's Center at Westlake's St. =
John West Shore Hospital.

The concert features the TrueNorth Orchestra and Chorale, under the =
direction of Richard A. Fortney, and will be held Saturday, May 22, 7:30 =
p.m. at the Cuyahoga Community College Main Auditorium, Metro Campus, =
2900 Community College Avenue in Cleveland, on the corner of E 30th and =
Woodland. Secured garage parking is available.

This concert traces a cancer patient's journey, inspiring hope and =
awareness. This 80-minute, 11-movement choral song cycle, complete with =
full orchestral accompaniment, is based on true stories of cancer =
survivors and their families. In addition to the 80+ TrueNorth =
musicians, featured throughout the evening will be various medical staff =
and patients from the Ireland Cancer Center, sharing personal stories. =
The concert promises to be filled with hope, encouragement, beautiful =
music, laughter, tears, and resources in up-to-date cancer research and =
support groups.

TrueNorth Cultural Arts is a multi-disciplinary arts organization =
committed to building and strengthening individuals and the community =
through the performing arts, the visual arts, and the humanities. =
TrueNorth's vision is two-fold: To educate, equip, and empower =
individuals so they can embrace and succeed in the creative arts, and to =
envision and encourage a community where creative arts and art =
appreciation flourish.

Tickets for the concert are $10 and may be purchased by calling (440) =
933-7771, or by visiting the Ireland Cancer Centers, or the TrueNorth =
Gallery, located at 33491 Lake Road in Avon Lake.=20

Further information can be found at the TrueNorth website, =
www.tncarts.org, at the University Hospital website, www.uhhs.com or by =
calling the TrueNorth office at (440) 933-7771.=20
