Cleveland Theater Collective is please to announce the participation of other
area theaters in the general auditions hosted and recently announced by the
Cleveland Play House and Great Lakes Theater Festival. 20 small professional
theaters in the northeast Ohio area, along with theaters in Columbus and
Pittsburgh, have been invited to send auditors to the general auditions. As
commitments to attend are confirmed, theaters will be added to a roster of auditors
posted on CTC's website--www.clevelandtheater.com--under the heading "Theater
News."

The annual open auditions for Great Lakes Theatre Festival and the
Cleveland Play House will be over two days, Sunday June 13 for non AEA
actors and Monday, June 14 for AEA actors. Auditions will be by appointment
only, between 10AM and 6PM, at the Cleveland Play House.

To set up an appointment, call 216 795 7000 x915, and leave a message
giving your name, how to spell your name correctly, whether you are AEA
(therefore whether you need a time for Sunday if non AEA or Monday if AEA),
whether you need an AM or PM time slot and how to reach you by phone.
Someone will call you back with a specific time.

Please prepare 4 minutes of material. You may structure those four minutes
any way you wish. Usually people prepare two contrasting pieces, such as a
comedy and a tragedy, a classical and a contemporary monologue, or a
monologue and a musical piece. Please note that if you wish to have a
pianist, we will try to provide one for the PM time slots.
