Dear NEOHIOPAL,

I am on a major search for anyone who is capable of fire-eating and the likes
in the Cuyahoga County area only. This includes anyone who works with fire
and/or is skilled in manipulating fire.

I will be performing in Salt Lake City this week, but please leave me a voice
mail at (216) 470-3210 as soon as possible! I will get back to you THIS
WEEK!

Subject: [NEohioPAL]New Works Class Starts Soon
Message-ID: <01C4512C.FD930C60.jfd at nccw.net>

The Geauga Theater is subsidizing the majority of the costs for an upcoming
12-week course that has been specially designed to help theater directors,
actors, writers, and technicians learn the process of putting an original
work for theater on its feet. The initial productions of new works present
special creative challenges. The course is being team-taught by
actor/director Jim Kisicki and playwright/dramaturg Joanne Durante, with
lectures by a variety of guest artists representing specific crafts,
including stage management, scenic design, lighting, costuming, and sound.
The new script we will be working on is A Tale of Two Delis, by Laurel
Gans, which some of you may have heard read last spring at the conclusion
of our Performance Writing classes at Dobama Theatre.

If you are interested in participating in the production of new works for
stage, we hope you will consider spending 12 consecutive Monday evenings
(legal holidays off) with us, from 7-9 p.m. This intense workshop will
culminate in a rehearsed, script-in-hand reading with full blocking,
lighting, and sound on the Geauga Theater stage. Sketches for scenic design
and costuming will be displayed in the lobby.

The course begins on June 21st. If you are able to attend a minimum of 8 of
the 12 sessions, including the final performance on September 13th, we hope
you will consider joining us. There is a nominal fee of $50. For more
detailed information or to register, please e-mail jfd at nccw.net or call
440.729.6481.
