Acclaimed Concert Pianist Returns to Historic Tremont

(Cleveland, OH) - National and International award-winning pianist Jason =
Peterson returns to Zion UCC of Tremont, 2716 West 14th St., Cleveland, =
OH to perform a solo concert on Saturday, August 8, at 7:30 p.m. =
Admission price is a suggested Freewill Donation between $7.00 and =
$10.00. The renovated sanctuary is handicap accessible with ample =
parking in the area.=20

Jason Peterson will present an evening of piano masterpieces by Baroque =
Period composer, Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), Romantic Period =
composers, Franz Peter Schubert (1797-1828) and Frederic Chopin =
(1810-1849), as well as compositions by Alexander Scriabin (1872-1915) =
and Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873-1943), both of whom bridged the gap from =
the Romantic Period to 20th Century Classical. Mr. Peterson is hoping to =
fund the release of a second CD and a performing tour of France and =
Germany next year. His CD "Jason Peterson Live from Kilbourn Hall" will =
be on sale for $10.00 during intermission and at the reception following =
the concert. =20

This astounding 22-year-old pianist is a prizewinner in national and =
international competition and was the first four-time recipient of a =
grant from the Chopin Foundation of the United States, Inc. He has been =
awarded by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts and was =
recently the only American finalist in the Grace Welsh International =
Prize for Piano. Recent performances include solo recitals in Milwaukee, =
Rochester, Chicago, London, Cleveland, Phoenix, Denver, Raleigh, Vienna =
and two performances with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. Mr. Peterson =
has scheduled a recital in the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Series in Chicago =
to be broadcast nationwide.

with the twice weekly Drop-in Center and Saturday Drop-in Meals Program =
