Jim Gill & Friends, along with the Kelleys Island Brewery, are thrilled=20
to announce a musical event at The Rose Theater in Medina on Saturday,=20
August 28th at 9pm. This show will feature the original music of Jim=20
Gill and the original micro-brews of Kelleys own Brewmaster, Doug=20
Muranyi. Many of you may have seen the band over the last season and a=20
half serenading the masses at Patti Johnson's place, often referred to=20
as the finest micro-brewery in the middle of a lake! Now we're takin'=20
the island south and dropping anchor in Medina! The Brewery is happy to=20
now offer its' signature ales, lagers and pilsners in bottles and what=20
better opportunity to showcase these glistening beauties than at a=20
concert!

The Rose Theater is proud to host this event and they are hoping that=20
folks who enjoy great music and superior brews will travel south to the=20
quiet hamlet of Medina for an evening of great music, hilarious=20
storytelling and some potent beverages! The Rose, located at 139 West=20
Liberty, is a beautifully renovated theater just west of the square in=20
downtown Medina. It is among the finest listening venues in Northern=20
Ohio. Host to local, regional and national acts, the Rose boasts a pro=20
sound system and lighting with the comfort of cushy theater seats, and=20

The original music of singer/songwriter Jim Gill is best described as=20
James Taylor meets Dave Mathews with the voice of Jim Croce. He has=20
just released his second CD, "Sky", the follow up to his debut CD, "So=20
Fine".  He and his band have now added a fourth member, Bobby=20
Littlejohn, who plays a scintillating guitar. Bobby joins band regulars=20
J Lang on drums and percussion, and Ted Lamarsson, who plays no less=20
than five instruments including mandolin, keyboard, bass and guitars.=20
Fans of the group will quickly tell you that half the fun of these=20
shows is the hysterical stories that punctuate the breaks between=20
