Night Kitchen at Dobama Theatre is proud to announce its 2004-2005 Season.

On the Brink: An Exploration of Sanity and Madness
Scenes and Monologues featuring Talented Young Actors
Directed by Danny Durst, Rivkah Massey, and Adrienne Moon
October 1-3, 2004. Friday and Saturday at 11pm. Sunday at 7pm.

Embark on a journey with local artists exploring our state of mind.
Playing some of theatre's most compelling roles, this company of
talented young performers delves into a wide range of theatre pieces
from the very obscure to the truly classic. What makes their
characters tick? And what is it like to be on the brink?

Tape by Stephen Belber
Directed by Adrienne Moon
January 21-February 6, 2005. Fridays and Saturdays at 9pm. Sundays at 7pm

Jon, an aspiring filmmaker, meets up with his high school buddy,
Vince, to celebrate the showing of his film in an area festival. Over
the course of the evening Vince forces Jon into a startling and
disturbing confession, throwing into question the events of one
evening 10 years ago. In this sordid take on human relationships,
playwright Stephen Belber examines questions of motive, memory, truth
and perception.

Heaven and Hell (On Earth): A Divine Comedy By the Actors Theatre of Louisville
Directed by Danny Durst, Rivkah Massey, and Adrienne Moon
April 22-May 5, 2005. Fridays and Saturdays at 11pm. Sundays at 7pm.

In this comic anthology an array of devilishly talented playwrights
including Jane Martin, Rebecca Gilman, and William Mastrosimone put a
contemporary spin on a fascinating eternal obsession. Grappling with
their own diverse experiences of vice and virtue, salvation and
damnation, characters from the twenty-something generation interpret
their world with amusing revelations and surprising insights...
