[NEohioPAL]CORRECTION: “Melody Makers” holding auditions for Fall, 2004 Session at NCP

The Melody Makers, a vocal performance group for ages 7 – 13 years, 
sponsored by the North Canton Playhouse, Center for the Performing Arts, has 
openings for its Fall session taking place September 28 – November 26, 2003. 
  The group will meet on Sundays 4:00 – 6:00 pm and Tuesdays 6:00 – 8:00 pm 
at the NCP new Youth Theatre location, rehearsing a repertoire of songs 
featuring their vocal talent as well as theatre dance movement.  Near the 
end of the session, the group will have performances in our local area 
during the months of November/December.  The cost per student is $150.00.  
This is a great chance for children this age to learn how to harmonize 
together – both musically and by forming new friendships!

AUDITIONS for this group are on Sunday, September 19th, at 4:00 p.m. at the 
North Canton Playhouse new Youth Theatre location at: 1210 South Main St. 
(located in plaza between “A Time to Dance” Studio and Kraus Pizza.  
Students between the ages of 7 – 13 should come prepared with a memorized 
song, no longer than 1-1/2 minutes in duration please.  Accompanist will be 
provided or you can bring your own, or a tape/CD player will be provided if 
your accompaniment is recorded.  If your child plans on auditioning, you 
must register with the director, Mrs. Lisa Paynter, at 330-966-7710 to 
register your child for the auditions.
