OK, so maybe most Clevelanders won't be able to attend the amazing Grand
Opening of the new National Museum of the American Indian on September 21st in
Washington, D.C. Literally, HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people are expected to
visit the Nation's Capitol for this historic event!!
     However...
Clevelanders CAN visit the Kulture Kids-sponsored "Aurora's Fifth Annual
Family Festival and Pow Wow: An American Indian Educational Event", held on
Saturday, September 11th (11 AM to 6 PM) and Sunday, September 12th (11 AM to 5
PM) at Aurora High School on 109 West Pioneer Trail Road in Aurora, OH.

American Indian Dancing, Traditional Regalia, Music, Jewelry, Crafts and
Food are all part of the fun! Demonstrations and Hands-On Experiences are
emphasized throughout the weekend, and Grand Entry will be at Noon on both days.
Kulture Kids performs on Saturday afternoon (along with other
performers) and will also present at Craddock Elementary and Leighton Elementary Schools
in Aurora during the preceding school week as part of the festival.

Admission is $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for children ages 6 to 12, $1.00 for
Seniors, and children under 6 are FREE. For more information, contact
