I am an area musician. I don't act, but I do musical pit orchestras when my schedule permits. I've gotten work through this list. The NE ohioPAL is NOT limited to actors. The performing arts community in NE Ohio is, thankfully, diverse, VERY diverse. Get used to it. I'm straight, but not narrow. I'm very thankful for this list, and thank you Mr Sternfeld for your time and patience. Love and regards..............Norm Tischler "Sax Therapist"

Ms, Anelli,

HOW DARE YOU! I am offended.

Perhaps this is not the list for you? You don't seem to understand much about it. I understand the list to be for postings, questions, jobs, anything and etc. for ALL KINDS of artists, musicians, dancers, writers.... you name it, and other things that pertain to the arts or may be of interest to artists. I think Fred is doing an amazing service to our arts community and free of charge, (what a pain it must be to maintain this list) and I don't see you helping. I have made contacts, friends, artistic growth and .....money because of this list. We artists often find it necessary to be bound together as a community, that's what I love about this list. Maybe you don't feel the need to connect, poor dear. I for one am grateful. I have found out about events that helped me as I am trying to make a living and raise kids in Cleveland as an artist, oy vey. perhaps you should not bite the hand that feeds you sweetheart.

Dear Mr.Sternfeld,

I was originally very impressed with the neohio Pal list. It was an important source for auditin notices. However, I've been frustrated with all the "filler"; most recently, the Sept.10 notice looking for a speaker for a new club at Orange High School called the Gay-Straight Alliance. What does this have to do with theatre? I'm well aware of the diversity within the arts community, but I don't believe your list needs to be the"bulletin board" for this cause. Can we stick to notices involving acting jobs? I for one, would really appreciate it.

                           Sincerely,

                            Andrea Anelli
