Cleveland, Ohio- Independent Pictures and Media Design Imaging are
proud to present the 5th Annual Directors of Photography Workshop
9a-6p on Sunday, November 7th, 2004 at the WVIZ/PBS-ideastream
station located at 4300 Brookpark Road in Cleveland.  Workshop cost
is $50 (must be paid in advance) and includes lunch the day=20
of the workshop and admission to the 2004 Ohio Independent Film
Festival on Friday November 12 at 8p.  IP Members with membership
card receive $5 off admission.

Join us for a full day workshop on filmmaking.  Learn techniques and
experience the different directorial viewpoints of Director of
Photography experts: Robert Banks Jr. (Cleveland), Tiffany Laufer
(Los Angeles) and 3rd cinematographer to be announced shortly.=20

Participants will be involved in a hands-on experience as each DP is
given a raw script, a bare set, and basic lighting and grip
equipment, and is faced with the challenge of creating a film.=20

Each DP will create a lighting design with volunteer assistance
(participants) as crew or cast, then record the results on color
reversal 16mm film (courtesy of Kodak, Inc.).  The film will then be
processed (courtesy of FilmCraft Lab) and screened 7:30p Friday
November 12 at the 2004 Ohio Independent Film
Festival, Cleveland Public Theatre, 6415 Detroit Road.
