Yes, this election sucks.  Yes its terrible, and yes there are a lot of
good people who are going to be affected by these results.

However,  instead of blaming everyone who didn't vote your way, and
instead of calling them names and moaning about how ignorant they must
be, how about understanding why they voted the way they did and try to
reach out to people instead of alienating them by calling them stupid
and ignorant.  Both sides of the political spectrum have issues with
responding to those who hold opposite views without resorting to name
calling.  But the fact of the matter is that you're not going to change
anyone's mind that way which means you won't get the result you want. 
How about embodying what we are supposed to stand for, as liberals, in
our responses to the other side, instead of playing their game of
intolerance.  Education is the answer to so many problems in this world.
 And shouting and blaming is not.
