The Other Theater Project is pleased to announce their premier production, "Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You", by Christopher Durang opening This Wednesday night, Thanksgiving Eve, November 24th and running for two weekends at The Cleveland Black Box Theater.

"Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You" is an up-close and personal evening with Sister Mary, a teaching nun who is very concerned with sin in all its various forms. As she delivers a cautionary lecture to her charges, several of her former students show up and the picture darkens in hysterical ways as Sister Mary’s indignation grows.

The Other Theater Project is thrilled with the talented cast it’s been able to assemble for their first production, including Gretchen Thompson, Michael Polk, Derek Koger and Marlene Kelly. Local favorite Meg Chamberlain plays Sister Mary and newcomer Colin Wisniewski portrays young Thomas.

In addition to Durang’s hysterical one act, The Other Theater Project is presenting an original comedy sketch and a few other surprises helping to give the entire evening a bizarre church bazaar type of feel.

The Other Theater Project is a new production company which was created by Aaron Patterson and Russel Stich, with the goal of keeping artistic people working in an artistic environment. Executive producers Stich and Patterson are both Cleveland based actors who have directed locally. They first worked together in "Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding" and are currently cast members at Cabaret Dada Improvisational Theater. This new venture will be based out of The Cleveland Black Box Theater an independent productions venue that operates in Dada’s 130 seat space.

Tickets for "Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You" are $10 and can be reserved by calling The Cleveland Black Box Theater at (216) 696-4242.
