TICKETS GOING FAST FOR THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS AT SOLON CENTER FOR THE =
ARTS!

Tickets are going fast for The Night Before Christmas this Saturday, part =
of Solon Center for the Arts 2004-2005 Theater Season.=20

Hailed as a =93poignant=94 and =93spirited community show,=94 The Night =
Before Christmas tells the story of a young sister and brother, Symphony =
and Paris, who are under the foster care of Reverend and Mother Pastor. =
During one Christmas Eve service, Symphony falls asleep and is awakened by =
her Fairy Godmother. Like any good Fairy Godmother, she was prepared to =
grant three wishes. But Symphony wanted only one: to be reunited with her =
real parents for Christmas. So begins the story. This emotionally charged =
dance, theater and musical journey of contemporary and gospel music =
features the legendary jazz composer Duke Ellington=92s rendition of =
Tchaikovsky=92s The Nutcracker Suite. Original play by Margaret Lynch, =
conceived, directed and choreographed by Michael Medcalf, Assistant =
Director of Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theater, The Night Before =
Christmas will feature several regional actors, the SCA Dance Ensemble and =
CCDT.

This special holiday event will occur one night only at Solon High School =
Auditorium on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $10 for =
adults, $8 for students and seniors and can be purchased at Solon Center =
for the Arts or by calling 440.337.1400.
