Hello All,
Christmas is a time for Giving and The Hope School of Acting & Studios is no
different. I am trying to teach my current students and those that will be
joining us in the future of the spirit of giving. Sooo here is the deal.
For anyone who registers their children for my Spring Term: (Feb 5 - June 4)
and pays for that term in full. I will deduct $25 as a Merry Christmas
savings to you and I will take $25 from your registration payment and give it to
help get toys to children who will otherwise have no Christmas toys.
Please also know that for Adults... all of you who register and pay for
classes to begin January 1 on a monthly basis, I will reduce your January payment
$12 and will give $12 to help the needy children.
If you would like to donate and you do not wish to attend classes your
donation is very welcome. I have families who are in need and mostly we are in
need of toys for children and teens. Your money would go a long way as would
any toys you would like to donate, clothes, blankets, dishes, actually just
about anything you would like to help out with I am sure I can help give to
someone in need.
I have a couple of churches getting back with me on families in my local
area (Akron) who are in need and how many children and ages that they have need
of. Right now I have one family who has 4 children 3 teenage girls 16 - 13 -
12 and a 3 yr old little boy. They have a roof over their heads but there
is not enough money to get them any kind of a Christmas. A little something
would be appreciated.
There are more families that I will have this week. I am sure we will even
need silly things like Christmas decorations and probibly even a tree or two.
Things like this seem silly but they help to make the season bright and
help others realize that Santa really does exist.
I am so pleased that my school is going to be able to do this for the needy
families in the Akron area. My kids are excited because on Christmas eve we
are going to go and "drop and run" the packages to these families much like
Santa would. I have some food but I am trying to put together a complete
Christmas dinner for 6 families.
Anything that you can do be it money and/or items is so appreciated
especially at this time of year. Please also know that I have access to a GE Range
that needs a home if you know anyone in need of it.
The Hope School of Acting & Studios will be doing this on a year round basis
so if you have anything that you would like to donate at any time during the
year, please give us a call and let us know... I am sure we can help find
someone who is in need who can use the items.
Much like the movie "Pay It Forward" we want to be able to give blessings to
others. We plan on doing it all year long and hopefully without being
caught by the families we will be giving things to. The joy is in the giving not
in the being thanked for it.
Everyone, now it is my turn to thank you. This was the first year that my
school was in operation. I have 10 of the greatest kids I could ever have
asked for to begin with. Such talent only confirms to me that our future,
especially in the entertainment industry, is in our children. It has been fun and
we are now working on the movie that was written just for them to perform in
as their final project. There will be a trailer of that film on our website
soon after we have completed it for your viewing pleasure.
These kids are great actors and I have indeed been blessed. Thank you
parents who have trusted me with your children and I hope they will return to the
advanced class where they will be challenged just a little bit more. Thank
you Fred, for allowing me to post on your forum and thank you readers for
putting up with my endless posts for registration etc..
Now, saying that about registration. I am taking registration now and you
can even use your credit card if you go to my website
