The Musical:
An absurdist fantasy Anyone Can Whistle tells the story of a corrupt
mayoress who fakes a miracle to revitalize her bankrupt town and the
ill-fated romance between a rational nurse out to expose the fraud and an
easy-going doctor determined to enjoy the chaos.  In the end, the show
delivers a poignant message about the importance of the individual in a
conformist society - but not before aiming it's still relevant barbs at
government, religion, science and anything else that stands in it's way!
(Rated G)  
Casting Information: 
There is one EQUITY GUEST ARTIST contract available for this show.  It can
be used for any of the following roles.

The director is particularly looking to cast children and young people in
roles traditionally played by adults.

Production Dates:
April 29 through May 15, 2005 - Evening performances at 8:00 pm, Matinees at
3:00 pm.  Presented in the Corning Auditorium.  

Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will begin on March 14.  Rehearsals will be held 4 to 6 days a
week in the evenings and on weekends.  

What to Prepare:
Please come prepared with your best short song, any style.  May be from the
show.  Please have sheet music in the appropriate key.  Music Director will
accompany all auditioners.
