Meisner Acting Workshop
 
An intense 2 hour workshop on the beginning level of the Meisner technique, hosted by Jessica Houde with special guest speaker Douglas Cavanauh.
 
Guest speaker, Douglas Cavanauh has been studying the Meisner technique for 8 years at the prestigious Playhouse West in Los Angeles California. He has worked with top level actors such as Jeff Goldblum, Marley Shelton and James Franco.During the workshop Douglas will be working with each individual separately on first day repitition excercises.
 
Host, Jessica Houde has 5 years of hands on training and teaching experience with Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblum.Jessica was a substitute for only one month before she was given classes of her own to teach at the prestigious Playhouse West in Los Angeles.Jessica has worked with top level talent such as James Franco, Scott Caan, Shawnee Smith, Mark Peligrino and Robin Cohen.Jessica starred in the longest running play in Los Angeles, " Welcome Home Soldier " . 
 
Jessica's  love and passion for the craft of acting has become a definitive reason for teaching the Meisner technique to only the most dedicated individuals right here, in the Cleveland area.
 
Workshop:
 
To be held at the Cleveland Public Theatre
(parking on premises)
Monday January 17th 5-7 p.m. and or 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Only $ 20.00 per workshop
 
Starting in February ,Jessica Houde will be teaching classes on the Meisner technique Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Cleveland Public Theatre.
