I just wanted to let everyone know that I have received 2 e-mails claiming
to be from NEOhiopal that were bogus. I actually didn't open them because
they looked suspicious, but upon inquiring with Fred, learned he never sent them
out.
Here's how you can tell the difference: When Fred sends notices, they
appear like this:
"12/26/2004 TCervino99 at ... [NEohioPAL] Warning to all NEohioPAL
subscribers"
The ones I received appeared like this:
"12/26/2004 neohiopal at lists.fr.... hello (or other various headings)",
and contained an item to be downloaded.
I would advise against opening anything fitting this description. Who
knows what virus it might contain?
Happy holidays everyone.
May the coming year bring much happiness...and safety from internet
scoundrels!
