Brecksville Center for the Arts offers the following classes for actors "and others" seeking the best workout, increased agility and skill, all with fun thrown in!

In Beginning Adult Ballet (starts Tuesday, January 18, 5-6pm), students will stretch & tone muscle, develop movement and agility skills, and soothe overactive minds to music and rhythm. All classes are taught by Kim Abkemeier, Director of Kim & Company (a professional dance training group), former principal dancer (ten years) with Heinz Poll's Ohio Ballet and former soloist with the world-renowned Miami City Ballet with Edward Villella. Contact Kim directly at 440/885-9601 with questions or to register.

Belly Dance (runs January 19-March 9, Level I from 6:30-7:30pm; Level II from 7:35-8:35pm) challenges you to be true to your New Year's Resolution! Learn this ancient art while improving balance and muscle tone. All classes are taught by Alanna Schultz, Director of Troupe Shaba'ana in Cleveland. Fees are $72 BCA members, $80 non-members.

Founded in 1991, Brecksville Center for the Arts is a non-profit, regional arts center open to all residents of NE Ohio. Winter classes schedules (covering January through April) are available now! Phone 440/526-6232 for your free copy or visit www.brecksvillearts.org. Classes begin weekly and all require advance registration, accepted in person, by mail, or fax/phone with MC/VISA. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:30am-4pm, Tuesday 9:30am-6pm.
