A CALL FOR ARTISTS AT SOLON CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Time is running out to submit your application for the 3rd Annual Summer =
Art Show at Solon Center for the Arts. This event will be held outdoors, =
Sunday, August 14, 2005 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm between the Center and =
Solon City Hall.

Last year, over 40 artists participated and approximately 1,500 visitors =
enjoyed a variety of art, entertainment, an antique car show, and =
refreshments. The Center anticipates a larger crowd this summer, more =
artists and arts sales and many more activities. A primary focus this year =
is to provide a valuable and lucrative experience for all of the exhibiting=
 artists who participate.=20

All media will be accepted. Work must be original in concept, design and =
execution. No kits, mold ware or work produced from commercial patterns or =
manufactured pieces will be accepted. All work must be for sale and =
artists must submit at least 5 photos or slides with a self addressed, =
self stamped envelope to be approved. There is a $50 registration fee to =
participate in the Art Show.=20
