The North Canton Playhouse, Center for the Performing Arts, will present the 
A.R. Gurney romantic comedy, "Sylvia" February 11 -- 27 in the Studio 
located at 525 - 7th St. NE (on the campus of Hoover High School in North 
Canton).

Kate’s life is in a tizzy.  The kids have left the nest – Thank God!  Kate 
and her husband, Greg, have left the suburbs and moved into Manhattan – 
about time!!  Kate’s career with the New York City Schools is finally taking 
off – YES!!!  Everything should be working out … but Greg, who is suddenly 
dissatisfied with his job, has brought home – of all things – a stray dog 
named Sylvia!  %&*$#!!!!  Kate thought the “dog” part of their life was 
over!!  Come and see what happens in this romantic comedy about life, 
marriage, and a dog!!!


Please note:  This play contains strong language and is recommended for 
mature audiences.


Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m.
