Jerome Saunders is a multi-talented jazz pianist/composer/stylist and=20
educator.  Jerome began his music studies at the age of eight.  Some of his=20=
early=20
principal studies were with Ben Austin, a noted Cleveland theory and harmony=
=20
specialist.  Jerome is a graduate of Antioch College, in Yellow Springs, Ohi=
o,=20
with a degree in Music and Art.  He subsequently attended New England=20
Conservatory of Music in Boston, Mass, where he studied under noted jazz com=
poser Tom=20
McKinley and noted Jazz pianist/composer/arranger and recording artist, Jaki=
=20
Byard.  Having lived in Boston, New York and Cleveland, Jerome has performed=
 with=20
a range of notables including Mark Ledford, Walter Beasley, Najee, Craig=20
Harris, Patience Higgins, and Kamal Alim to name a few.  Jerome continues to=
=20
freelance, as a sideman and lead ensembles in a variety of settings in the g=
reater=20
Cleveland area.
