CLEVLEND, OH – Sunday April 10th, marks the much awaited return to Zion UCC of Tremont, 2716 West 14th St., Cleveland, OH of The Cleveland Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble as they present "A Festival of Music" by Johann Sebastian Bach. The program will consist of the Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 in G Major and the Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D Major composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. The Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 is scored for strings and two flutes in three movements: Allegro, Andante and Presto. Andrea Belding, solo violin has a major role in the concerto. The Orchestral Suite No. 3 is distinctly festive. From the Overture, we are swept away to dances of French origin: Air, Gavotte, Bourree and Gigue.

The Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra is a non-profit organization who depends on the support of the community. In their 67th year, they are one of the oldest Orchestras in northeast Ohio. It is a volunteer orchestra, made up of more than 60 dedicated musicians who play for the love of the music. The orchestra performs five concerts a year at all of the Tri-C auditoriums; Metro Auditorium, Western Campus Theater and Eastern Campus Theater. The Philharmonic’s current Music Director, William B. Slocum, has been with the Orchestra since 1981. William B. Slocum has served as Music Director of the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra since 1981.
